75 years of Panzer’s felt like reason enough to party. The fact that the St John’s Wood food hall is often credited as – London’s original Jewish deli and so much more – felt like reason enough to go all out and create a momentous evening.
So we invited Every. Single. Customer.
Invitations were distributed in store and sent out to our database online while all those following us on Instagram and Facebook were kept up to date with all the details. And on Tuesday 12th November (6-9pm) we served the very best foods and drink from all over the world alongside live music by the band, Simply Grey.
We offered our guests the chance to build their favourite (knitted) bagel art at the Kate Jenkins Bagel Bar as well as to meet some of our favourite artisan suppliers and producers with delicious tastings for all to enjoy.
The Panzer’s 75th anniversary raffle, proudly in support of St John’s Hospice, included some fabulous prizes such as a set of the limited edition Panzer’s porcelain designed by British artist Charlene Mullen, the already very popular Christmas Connoisseur Hamper and a one-of-a-kind Kate Jenkins adorned Panzer’s apron.
And so while foodies rocked in our aisles, exclaimed with delight over our catering, enjoyed hot chestnuts in front of the store while admiring Panzer’s Flowers floral arch and learnt more about our Hampers and Food Gifts from the team, we certainly partied along with the best of them.
Thanks to everyone who came along for making it such a great evening!
