We are joined by MasterChef champion of champions, Ping Coombes, for 2 nights of Malaysian banqueting on the terrace. She will be bringing the full force of the Makan club, her Malaysian supper club, to the terrace for a menu of Sambals, smokey satay and traditional Nasi Ulam.
Ping Coombes is a Malaysian chef. She stunned the MasterChef judges with food inspired by her Malaysian heritage when she won the competition in 2014 and then again in 2022 when she won MasterChef Champion of Champions, becoming the first double MasterChef Champion.
For two nights only Ping is collaborating with Panzers Deli to bring you the flavours of Malaysia. She is bringing Ping’s Makan Club, her Malaysian Supperclub to London. Makan means eat in Malaysia. Prepare to indulge in Malaysian cuisine and immerse yourself in the vibrant flavors of Malaysia, from traditional Nasi Ulam to Smokey Satay to more modern plates, Ping’s menu is full of flavour and textures.
If you haven’t been to one of her supperclubs before, don’t expect to know what you will be eating until the night but expect explosions of flavours and spice. You might not even know who is sitting next to you but that’s part of the fun. The not knowing and the anticipation of who and what! That said you will be seated with the person(s) you are booked with, don’t panic, it’s not musical chairs!
