London Chocolate Dominican Republic Bar
London Chocolate is part of the bean to bar revolution and makes only small batch premium chocolate. Created in the heart of London’s Canary Wharf, an area synonymous with merchant trade from exotic locations – cacao and sugar have been arriving at these docks since 1802. The beans are sourced ethically from individual plantations and 5% of their profits goes to sustainable charities.
This bar features a distinctive cacao from the much heralded Öko-Caribe Fermentery – a social enterprise in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic. It’s an incredibly smooth and creamy chocolate, with an explosive sweetness of honey and Strawberries, and subtle overtures of caramel.
