Odem Mountain, Reserve, Cabernet Sauvignon: Dark garnet in color, with on the nose ripe blackberries, cassis jam, a hint of dust, toasty oak, and vanilla. Full-bodied, nice concentration, with on the palate ripe black fruit, dried figs, sweet cherries, roasted herbs, tobacco leaves, medium acidity, and integrating tannins that coat the mouth with a touch of oak and sweet coffee on the moderately long finish.
