An uplifting variation on a classic. Two layers of coffee sponge filled and finished with coffee butter cream and then topped with a row of chocolate coffee beans. The result is a beautiful sponge cake with deep coffee flavours balanced by the sweetness of the icing. Try it with a cup of tea or coffee to really appreciate the depth of flavour.
Ingredients: butter (milk), wheat flour (contains calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin). Raising agent: sodium bicarbonate, brown sugar, free range eggs, coffee, baking powder.
Icing: butter (milk), icing sugar, coffee, chocolate coffee beans.
