Fourme d’Ambert is a classic French cow’s milk blue cheese from the Auvergne region, recognisable by its tall cylindrical shape. Produced over 1000 years, the texture is smooth, buttery and velvety. It has a fruity, woody aroma while the flavour is buttery, balanced, and earthy, complemented by the very gentle spicy blue mould. Great option for cheeseboard, Fourme d’Ambert works also well in salads or tarts.
