Cavolo Nero - Organic
Meet the king of leafy greens! Cavolo Nero , also known as black kale - hails from sunny southern Italy and is loved for its long, elegant leaves and deep, almost inky green colour. It’s a little more delicate in the field than other kales, but once it hits the pan, those beautiful blistered leaves take on a rich, hearty texture that’s pure comfort.
Ours comes straight from Richard Rowan Farm, Cornwall, where it’s grown with patience and care. Packed with goodness, it’s a natural for rustic soups, ribollita, risotto, and pasta. Or keep it simple - just sauté with butter, a squeeze of lemon, and a crack of pepper, and let those bold flavours shine.
