Women-Owned Brands To Support This International Women’s Day

Honouring the Women Who Shape the Way We Eat.

At Panzer’s, we’re proud to stock an exceptional selection of products crafted by talented women in the food world—women who have built their businesses with passion, purpose, and a deep respect for their craft.

This International Women’s Day, we’re highlighting some of our favourite women-owned brands and the inspiring founders behind them. We’re honoured to support these brilliant women—not just today, but every day. Keep an eye out in the shop and online for their products, and take a moment to discover the stories behind them.

Reem Abu Samra & Reemie’s Cakes

Reemies Cakes was born in 2018 out of a pure love of cake, specifically Banana Cake! My obsession with food went far beyond my sweet tooth and for that reason, having graduated from Law School, I decided to go to Chef School and get a professional Diploma. From the day I graduated, I only ever made one thing at home: the same old BANANA CAKE! The irony and humour of this was not lost on my friends and family and it is for them that I do this now, having been asked to please turn this obsessive passion into a business. After several “other” careers, I finally started reemies at 42!

A woman with long dark hair, wearing a relaxed cream-colored outfit, sits barefoot on a patterned rug in a cozy living space. She holds a teacup and dabs her mouth with a white napkin featuring a red lobster design. A partially eaten cake sits on a glass stand beside her, while a black side table holds a muffin and a banana. Behind her, a plush olive-green sofa contrasts with two abstract sunset-themed artworks on the wall. A pair of black and gold high-heeled sandals are casually placed nearby.
A woman with long brown hair, wearing a white blouse and blue jeans, is sitting at a white kitchen counter, smiling at the camera. In front of her is a neatly stacked pyramid of glass jars labeled "The Good Grain" in various colors, suggesting different flavors or varieties. The setting is bright and modern, with a plant visible in the background.

Jubilee Fox & The Good Grain

From the outdated sandwiches to the soggy fruit pots, I was getting frustrated by the ‘healthy’ fast-food options available. My energy was still lacking and I was never mentally energised or satisfied.

I started The Good Grain because I was tired of breakfast being packed with junk or a total hassle to make. When I couldn’t find a better option, I made one. The Good Grain Overnight Oats are 100% natural, ready-to-eat, and taste ridiculous good whilst actually fueling your day. No weird ingredients. No cooking. No clean-up. No compromises!

Saucey Dressings

I like to think of myself as some what of a condiment connoisseur. I always found myself chopping herbs to make dressings, pickling, whisking garlic into aioli, fermenting chilli, all in the mission of creating the yummiest condiments.

I was in a transitional period of my life when the idea of a nutritious homemade salad dressing brand popped into my head. I headed straight to my kitchen and began experimenting. Now I hand make each batch from our Notting Hill kitchen using the finest and locally sourced ingredients to create sauces that you can use with everything!

Jai Lurie & Jai’s Ice Cream

I had a lovely cafe in Belsize Park for several years and after selling, became obsessed with ice cream making. It seemed like the perfect next step to turn it into a business: Being surrounded by incredible ingredients each day and having space to be creative and make seasonal flavours from scratch really doesn’t feel like work at all!

Epic Brownies

Pam Hilling founded Epic Brownies back in August 2020, looking to provide locals with tasty treats during lockdown. Though you wouldn’t know when meeting her, Pam deals with numerous health issues so she needed to think of something that she could utilise her skills with but still be in control of workload. Epic Brownies was born. Now after nearly five years, multiple Great Taste and other awards later, things continue to go from strength to strength and we welcome everyone to join us on our journey.

And so many more! Mary’s Preserves, Puckett’s Jams, Suffolk Meadows, Baked at 8, and our very own Mani, who crafts the most beautiful cakes. We’re proud to champion women in business—today and every day.
