Kohlrabi
Green or purple kohl rabi is an underrated vegetable and best eaten raw, when the flesh is sweet, crisp and juicy.
Cooking: Peel the vegetable before use. Add raw to salads and slaws. Combine with sliced apple, roasted nuts, plus any salad leaves / herbs you fancy. Chop into batons and dip into hummus. Or try with a squeeze of lime juice and (optional) sprinkle of chilli powder.
