France - Chateau Lamothe-Cissac Haut-Medoc
Chateau Lamothe Cissac is a traditional Bordeaux with much elegance and savoury fruit and exhibits a dark ruby colour in the first years. The wine displays a large spectrum of aromas with notes of red and blackcurrant and jammy fruits associated with soft spices and subtle vanilla. Well-balanced palate with soft tannins and a very delicate finish. Cellaring a few years will develop a complex mix of leather, undergrowth and smoky notes.
Food pairing: Goes well with lamb, beef and hard cheeses.
